The Computer Engg. Program combines key aspects of electrical engg. and computer science. Students learn fundamentals of circuits systems and software associated with the design of programmable systems. They are skilled in both hardware and software. Students of computer engg. are in high demand after the completion of course. Computer Engg. students are also positioned to pursue graduate programs in computer science & other related disciplines.

The institution has a computer block which is fully air conditioned and has got from very basic to latest computers. The department has multi-media lab equipped with Scanners, Printers and a Computer Workshop, where students get knowledge of design and architecture & assembly of computer. The deptt. has got 24 hour internet facility through 6 Mbps lease line. The Scope of Computer Engg. & Information Tech. in Govt. as well as in private sectors:- Banks, Data Entry Operator, Teaching, Companies like TCS, Mahindra Satyam, Wipro, IBM etc., Telecom Sector: BSNL, MTNL, Idea, Airtel, Tata etc., Electrical Deptt. in all states, Railways, Aviation Sector, Refineries and many more.
